OPEN SITE is an open-call program organized by Tokyo Arts and Space to collect talent from across genres. This is their 8th year of running the open call, and nine projects have been chosen for display.
What to expect
Of the nine projects chosen, four are exhibitions, three are performances, and two are “dot” art.
During OPEN SITE 8 Part 1, you can explore exhibits by Arts Collective about the nature of time passing, as well as data imagery by Sato Ryotaro.
Check out the VR art display by Tsang Tsui-shan and art about feminist activism in Japan and Ecuador by Kasumi Iwama. For one performance, Ressenchka will use dance to express their thoughts on the fundamentals of existence.
Tickets
Entrance to the exhibition is free, but the performance portion is paid. You can buy tickets in advance here.
Organizers may cancel events, alter schedules, or change admission requirements without notice. Always check official sites before heading to an event.Add to Calendar
