This Yokohama Flower and Garden Festival showcases a stunning array of floral displays and innovative gardening techniques. At its heart is a botanical installation that invites visitors to imagine future gardens that live in harmony with nature. There will be dreamy rose displays -- including trending Yokohama varieties and French favorites -- and even Japan’s top cut rose competition. You don’t have to know the Latin names to enjoy this event. Yokohama’s own gardening community also takes a bow here, from neighborhood park volunteers to bonsai hobbyists. And if you’re less of a plant expert and more of a hands-on dabbler, there are workshops in everything from origami florals to DIY perfumery -- no green thumb required.
