Shibuiro Mode – Kimono Remake Collection

Free

Come join a fusion event incorporating a fashion designer, an illustrator and a spatial designer.  On exhibition are kimono upcycled dresses by Chie Duncan, original artwork inspired by antique kimonos from Erica Ward, and tie-in spatial design from the mind of David Takahashi.

Kimono dresses are one-of-a-kind, and have been reimagined for wear in daily life. These antique kimonos have been made with unique colors and textures called “Shibuiro”, which are impossible to find in off the rack fast fashion.

As well as the exhibition, on Saturday 19th, there will be show blending all these elements in what will be a fashion event unique to this venue and these designers. Tickets cost 1,000 yen and one drink is included. It begins at 4:30pm and finishes at 6pm. Tickets can be bought using the link below.

Organizers may cancel events, alter schedules, or change admission requirements without notice. Always check official sites before heading to an event.
