Popular picture book author Shinsuke Yoshitake is holding his first large-scale exhibition in Yokohama. Loved by both children and adults alike, he is best known for his quirky portrayal of everyday people with their funny gestures.

Last entry is at 7:30 p.m.

What to expect

Over 400 sketches and original picture book illustrations will be on display — all of which showcase the lively and vibrant world existing in Shinsuke Yoshitake’s mind. Using a fine pen and imagination, Yoshitake aims to give a different perspective to things and moments that you see on a daily basis.

This is a paid exhibition and tickets can be bought both in advance or on the door. Advance tickets will save you ¥200, costing ¥1,200 for adults and ¥1,000 for university students.
