Curated by the Tokyo-based creative collective TokyoDex, This & That Café is a bimonthly art & music event in which artists from all genres and backgrounds donate their time and talents in the spirit of sharing. On Friday, November 6, #TnTCafe marks its 26th volume with the fine lines and broad strokes of artist “Gerutama,” who celebrates her 10th Anniversary as a live painter this year. As always, the music on offer spans a wide range of genres, from the dream-pop stylings of “Tecimerico,” to the ebullient Afro/Caribbean sounds of “Reggaelation Independence.” Last, the wonderfully eclectic duo “emulsion” finish the night with a mixed genre sound collage. And the entrance fee is just the cost of your first drink which you buy at the door. Don’t miss it!
