Too Hot to Be Cool is a regular series of gigs raising money for important climate change charities worldwide. Bringing together rock and indie bands from around Tokyo, their previous sold-out events have raised money for such charities as WWF Japan, For the Future Philippines, and Green Youth Thailand.
What to expect
For the second anniversary of the event, local acts will come together at Roppongi’s Bauhaus to raise funds for Kids for Kids, a Philippines-based NPO empowering island communities through art, music, and climate education.
Lineup
The lineup includes AC/DC tribute band AD/CD, rising stars The Raptols and FUQA (fresh from UK and Philippines tours), plus alternative rockers Just Reboot, punk trio theCOMMON, and Moon Room performing a special Green Day tribute set.
Schedule
The event will feature a warmup party from 5–6:30 p.m., the main event from 6:30–9:30 p.m., and a free after-party featuring the iconic Bauhaus Band from 9:30 p.m. to 1 a.m.
