Tsukemen is a Japanese dish where noodles are dipped into a separate bowl of broth. At the Tsukemen Expo, the best chefs go head-to-head to be crowned tsukemen champion.
What to expect
The Tsukemen Expo is split into four week-long segments. Each segment will have a set of different noodle stores from around the country vying to impress the crowds with their unique broth. Walk amongst the stalls, slurp up some noodles, and cast your vote. You can also enjoy some craft beer and snacks to reset your palate in between — other food stalls will be set up for tsukemen time-outs.
How to get there
The Tsukemen Expo will be held in Okubo Park. The closest stations are Seibu-Shinjuku Station (2-minute walk), Okubo Station (7-minute walk), and Shinjuku Station (8-minute walk).
