Lots and lots of Doraemon come to Roppongi Hills as part of TV Asahi’s Roppongi Hills Summer Station – a collaboration between the Hills and their resident TV station that brings Asahi’s TV properties to real life.
66 Doraemon statues (including one Dorami) are the star attraction at “66 Plaza” next to the famous spider sculpture. From the 1st until the 23rd of August there will also be a Doraemon trick art exhibition.
Aside from life sized anime characters, the festival also features daily concerts in the Roppongi Hills Arena from popular artists including Denpagumi, Crystal Kay, Chris Hart, Super Girls and LiSA. Most performances begin at 6pm, but check the web site for exact times.
Organizers may cancel events, alter schedules, or change admission requirements without notice. Always check official sites before heading to an event.
