Yorunoyo Yokohama Winter Illumination

5:00pm – 9:05pm
Free

The Yokohama waterfront shines brighter at the Yorunoyo Yokohama Winter Illumination as it transforms the area into a dazzling array of light art and projections.

What to expect

Yokohama City will actually be covered in lights from November 1 until March 2. However, it’s in December when the magic emerges, as the Yorunoyo Yokohama Winter Illumination turns lights into artistry.

Yamashita Park will have an interactive light display for visitors to immerse themselves in, while the waterfront will have whales swimming under your feet.

If you’d rather watch from indoors, Osanbashi Passenger Terminal will have a projection mapping display. Wherever you go, the lights, sights, and music will brighten up your winter night.

How to get there

The Yorunoyo Yokohama Winter Illumination will be held along the Yokohama waterfront, which spans the entire harbor.

You can walk to the waterfront from several different stations and lines. Some of the closest are Minatomirai Station (2 minutes on foot) and JR Sakuragicho Station (a 5-minute walk away).

Organizers may cancel events, alter schedules, or change admission requirements without notice. Always check official sites before heading to an event.
