Yoshino Baigō Plum Blossom Festival

Free
Hotel Options

The plum blossoms found at Ōme Ume (Plum) Park are beautiful to behold — and come with a side of traditional festivities.

What happens?

Ōme is the place to be if you want both a view of plum blossoms and a fun-filled event that includes tours, dances, performances, and marches.

Note that while there are now plenty of plum trees to view, they all had to be chopped down in 2014 and replanted. This means they might not be as large as you’d expect from other parks, but the fun of this festival extends beyond the pink blossoms.
