Tateyama

Tateyama is a city in the far south of Chiba Prefecture’s Boso Peninsula.

Among local attractions is Cape Sunosaki, a piece of land that protrudes into Tokyo Bay and the site of an historic light house and a shrine. Also, there’s a reconstruction of Tateyama Castle – a building which only actually stood from 1580 until it was demolished in 1614.
