One of a number of previously existing buildings that was used for the 2020 Olympic Games, Tatsumi International Swimming Center hosted the water polo events. Serving as Japan's top swimming venue from 1993 until the construction of the nearby Tokyo Aquatics Center, the venue holds 5,000 people and has seen two world records set in its pool. The complex is a 7-minute walk from Tatsumi Station on the Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line.
