Akitsuki Denshi (Akitsuki Electronics) is the go-to store for obscure electronic parts in Akihabara.

The walls are filled with small plastic drawers filled with hundreds of different electronic components. If you need help, there are knowledgeable staff to advise on what you need, although you’ll need to overcome the language barrier first.

Compared to all the otaku-themed places in Akihabara, the clientele is quite different, made up of sometimes slightly elderly electronic engineers and hobby tinkerers.
