Kama-asa actually has two stores located next to each other, with a small side street dividing them. One is a general kitchenware shop, while the other is dedicated to kitchen knives.
Kama-asa is probably one of the more spacious knife shops, with different areas of the shop dedicated to different types of knife. There are staff on hand to explain the different knives and to give you advice on which one is best for you.
Before heading out, check out our detailed guide to knife shopping in Kappabashi.
