Kitazawa Konishi is a much loved bottle shop with fridges stocked with the best domestic and international craft beer. They also have a selection of ciders.
Prices are normal or perhaps even a little high for craft beer in Tokyo, but you come to Konishi for the selection rather than the low prices.
There is a tiny standing bar inside the shop that accommodates two customers. If that is occupied, you’ll have to take your beer elsewhere to consume as the proprietor doesn’t allow consumption anywhere else in the shop or in front of the store. Luckily, there are plenty of good places in Shimokitazawa to sit down and enjoy your drink.
