Surrounded by hip (and overpriced) little cafes, just down the road from Hatos Bar, and a few minutes from Nakameguro Station and the canal, Komeisen is Nakameguro’s neighbourhood sento complete with a coin laundry downstairs and wall murals in the bathing areas.
For a relatively reasonable ¥470, offers a number of hot indoor bath, a cold water bath, and a sauna as well as an outdoor bath (access alternates monthly between men and women). It’s one of the smaller sentos and its popularity means it can get crowded!
You can rent a towel (you’ll get a big one and a small one) for ¥100 and buy soap, shampoo and conditioner, or you can bring your own from home.
