Learn about Odawara’s local history, nature, and culture at this free museum.
The museum consists of two floors. On the first floor, you can see pottery from the Jomon and Yayoi periods, as well as artifacts from the Kofun period, and items from the Meiji, Taisho, and Showa periods.
The second floor features daily-life items that offer a glimpse into how people lived, as well as an exhibit showcasing Odawara’s animals and marine life in the nearby Sakagawa River.

From Odawara Station, the Local Culture Museum is a 12-minute walk. You can also take a ¥200, 4-minute bus towards Hakonemachi Port from the station. Get off at the Hakoneguchi bus stop and walk for 5 minutes.
