The NYK Maritime Museum is dedicated to the history of Nippon Yusen, one of Japan’s oldest shipping companies and amongst the largest in the world.
The museum features photographs, displays and models, all with good English descriptions.

The NYK Hikawamaru in nearby Yamashita Park, is connected to the museum. For an extra ¥100, you can buy a combined ticket that allows you to look around both.
