Andy’s is an authentic Japanese izakaya specializing in fish run by a Brit—the aforementioned Andy.
Located under the tracks just to the south of JR Yurakucho Station, the izakaya is surprisingly spacious, spread out over two floors.
The izakaya-style food is very good and the prices are average but not cheap for this kind of place. The value is excellent though for what you get for your money. Of course there are cheaper izakaya’s but they will use inferior ingredients.
Andy’s is quite popular with foreign tourists and also with visiting sports teams—the All Blacks came here during the 2019 Rugby World Cup. It’s generally recommended to make a booking, but you can often get in there later in the evening without a booking.
Make sure to take cash—credit cards are not accepted.
