Bakery & Table is a popular bakery and café in Hakone near the shore of Lake Ashi.
And we do mean popular, be prepared for long lines during peak travel seasons. On the first floor is the bakery where you can buy a range of breads and baked goods. Meanwhile the second floor houses the café and the third floor is their restaurant.
Try to snag one of the footbath seats on the first floor outdoor terrace and enjoy the view of Lake Ashi if you can. Otherise, opt for take-away — there are lots of benches and places to sit nearby (just remember to carry your trash with you).
NOTE: Bakery & Table charges a different tax rates for dine-in and take-away, 10% and 8% respectively.
