A short walk from Omorikaigan Station, Maikumura is a kaiseki restaurant that has earned the much coveted 3 stars from the Michelin guide, meaning the food here is world class.
With a reputation like this, it’s little surprise that the entrance is very discrete. Makimura definitely didn’t get stars for its location, which is on a sterile, non-descript suburban street.
