If you’re a Gundam obsessive and you like waiting in queues, this exhibition at the Mori Art Museum on top of Roppongi Hills is for you.
If the 1,800yen entrance seems to a bit steep for looking at some blown up pictures and models from the anime and movies, there are also plenty of discounted tickets available. There is a “pair” ticket (which we assume will mainly be used by young Japanese males on man dates) for 3,000yen, an “after 6” ticket for 1,500yen and a “family” ticket for 2,200. We put family in quotes as it’s basically just a 1 parent and 1 child ticket. Children from kindergarten age through to elementary school age can get in (with an adult) for 600yen if bought before the event or 800yen for on the day sales.
