Celebrating its 16th year, Festival Brasil 2023 — also known as Brazilian Day Tokyo — pulls in an impressive crowd. Once again it will be held in Yoyogi Park’s Events Square and will feature all things Brazilian. Look forward to food, dancing, and vibrant performances.
It is organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Brazil in Japan (CCBJ).
This year, duo Talis & Welinton — known for their country music (sertanejo in Brazilian) — will fly over from Brazil to appear for the first time.
Festival Brasil or Brazilian Day Tokyo will also have the participation of artists, musicians, and dancers from the Brazilian community in Japan.
You’ll get a taste of Brazillian music with samba, forró, bossa nova, and pagode, as well as more than 20 stands and food trucks. Chow down on barbecue, feijoada, coxinha, churros, and caipirinha. To top it all off, there will be performances from capoeira groups.Organizers may cancel events, alter schedules, or change admission requirements without notice.
