We’re totally in love with Showa Kinen Park—it’s a massive park with dazzling trees, myriad flowers, a dragonfly marsh, bird sanctuaries, fountains, bike trails, a kids area and everything else you could possibly want out of a park. But autumn at Showa Kinen Park holds a special place in our hearts as fields of picturesque cosmos flowers bloom during the season.
This year’s theme is “lemon bright” as the cosmos will be yellow in color. You can catch these beauties from September until late October.
Admission to the park costs ¥450 for adults (15+) and free for children (0-14).
Free admission days are Sun, Sep. 19 (over 65s only), Sunday, Oct. 16, and Sunday, Oct. 23. There will also be early morning days throughout the festival. Check here for more details.Organizers may cancel events, alter schedules, or change admission requirements without notice. Always check official sites before heading to an event.
