Dressed in the Sky Fashion Exhibition: Tokyo City View x Yuima Nakazato

9:00am – 10:00pm
¥2,000 (advance sales)¥2,200 (on the door)

Experience a spectacular display of fashion alongside breathtaking skyline views at this unique event at Roppongi Hills. Inspired by Yuima Nakazato — the only Japanese designer invited to Paris Haute Couture Week — the event offers fashion enthusiasts the chance to see his creations up close.

What to expect

Three of Yuima Nakazato’s haute couture dresses will be displayed against the backdrop of Tokyo’s skyline. In addition, photographs of the dresses by renowned photographer Mika Ninagawa will also be showcased. This exceptional presentation creates a fusion of fashion, art, and the city’s vast sky — one that will make visitors feel as though they are ‘dressed in the skyline’.

In Sky Gallery 3, you can watch the trailer for Nakazato’s fashion documentary Weaving a Burning Dress. If you are planning to visit from February 3 onwards, you will also get to see another exhibition, featuring costume pieces for the designer’s latest collection FADE.

Tickets

Tickets range in price depending on what day of the week you go and whether you get them online in advance.

Advance weekday tickets cost ¥2,000 for adults, ¥1,400 for students, ¥700 for children and ¥1,700 for seniors. When booking, you will need to select a specific date and time slot to visit. Weekend advance tickets cost ¥100 more for children and students, and ¥200 more for adults and seniors.

Same-day weekday tickets cost the same as advance weekend tickets. The same-day weekend tickets are the most expensive, costing ¥2,400 for adults, ¥1,600 for students, ¥900 for children, and ¥2,100 for seniors.

Note that this admission ticket does not give you access to all the areas inside Tokyo City View (observation deck). If you want access to all areas, you will need to pay an additional ¥100 to ¥200.

How to get there

This event is taking place at Tokyo City View, an observation deck on the 52nd floor of Roppongi Hills Mori Tower. You can get there by taking the Hibiya Line or Ginza Line to Roppongi Station. However, we recommend taking the Hibiya Line to Roppongi Station and using Exit 1C as it is only a 3-minute walk to the tower.
