This summer, enjoy the outdoors at Picnic Cinema, hosted by Yebisu Garden Place. Relax on the spacious artificial turf area and savor meals from top restaurants at Yebisu Garden Place, home to the famous Yebisu Brewery.
What happens?
Every summer, Ebisu Garden Place hosts a month-long outdoor film series with screenings spread across Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings. Produced by mobile cinema collective Kino Igloo, the program mixes classics, cult films, and newer releases. This year’s lineup includes Still Walking, Melody, and Twilight Warriors: The Final Battle at Kowloon Walled City.
Around the screenings, restaurants from Ebisu set up temporary food stalls in Clock Square, while morning and evening yoga sessions take place on the lawn during the festival period.
Schedule
All films will start at 7:30 p.m. and will take place on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays only during the event period.
Tickets
Entry is free. However, for the outdoor yoga, participation is limited and will be on a first-come, first-served basis. The event organizers recommend bringing your own yoga mat or bath towel.
