What to expect
On December 31, from 10 p.m. till just after midnight, join the party in front of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. Catch performances from breakdancer Shigekix, virtual idol Hatsune Miku, and Hello Kitty and friends, as well as state of the art projection mapping.
Entry
Entry to the event is free, but you’ll need to register in advance to participate (deadline: December 7). If you can’t make it to the event, it’s also set to be live streamed via the official website.
How to get there
The event takes place at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office’s Civic Plaza, around a 10-minute walk from Shinjuku Station or 1 minute from Tochomae Station. It’s right in front of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building.
