Join Homage Tokyo at Alishan Park for their next event: Clothing Swap Vol. 5!
The textile industry is one of the largest polluters in the world. One way to tackle these environmental issues is by extending the life of our clothes through participating in swapping events. Save the world and save some money.
How does it work?
You don’t need to have clothes to swap — you can just turn up at 2 p.m. and grab what’s available.
But if you do have clothes to give, please arrive before the event starts to drop-off your unwanted items.
Items left will be donated to the people of Ukraine and distributed for free at Tokyo-based flea markets!
What clothes can I swap?
Bring clean and undamaged clothes with no rips or stains. You can also bring hats, scarves, shoes, and accessories, as well as household items. But don’t bring your whole house. Do not bring electrical items, underwear, swimwear, sheets, and large furniture.
Tickets
It will cost ¥500 to participate in the swap — whether you are there to exchange or just load up on some clothes. As well as the ticket, please purchase a drink or food item from Alishan Park’s café.
