Kawaii Flea Market

9:00am – 3:00pm

Taking place either in Nakano or Ikebukuro, this small flea market is punted at the ladies, though, in our experience, can be a good time for all genders. Check it out for previously-loved clothing, crafts, antiques and all sorts of other cool and “cute” stuff.

Note: These markets, especially the Nakano-Sakaue version, can be really quiet and underwhelming. As this one doesn’t always get much traffic, things might wrap up early.

On its better days, the market features stalls by independent artists and craftspeople, or live performances. It might not be worth going all the way out to Nakanosakaue for it, but if you are in the area, swing by.

Note: The next Kawaii Flea Market is on 5 April 2020, at Nakano-Sakaue Sunbright Twin, from 9:30am to 3pm. Please note, markets are sometimes cancelled due to weather or other circumstances. Markets may be cancelled due to the ongoing Covid-19 outbreak.

17th Nakano-Sakaue Sunbright Twin (9:30 – 15:00)
24th Ikebukuro Sunshine City (9:30 – 15:00)
7th Nakano-Sakaue Sunbright Twin (9:30 – 15:00)
21st Nakano-Sakaue Sunbright Twin (9:30 – 15:00)
5th Nakano-Sakaue Sunbright Twin (9:30 – 15:00)
19th Nakano-Sakaue Sunbright Twin (9:30 – 15:00)
