Follow Tanjiro’s footsteps across Tokyo in this free, app-based anime rally. What to expect In collaboration with Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, the rally sends participants to 16 locations across Tokyo. Using the official web app, collect points by visiting each site. At every location, you can unlock AR photo experiences with different Demon Slayer characters and listen to location-specific voice recordings of Tanjiro Kamado, voiced by Natsuki Hanae. The app also tracks points, which you can exchange for limited-edition goods. How it works Earn one point at locations such as Haneda Airport Terminal 1 Observation Deck, Akihabara Electric Town, Tokyo Tower, Kasai Rinkai Aquarium, Toyosu Senkyaku Banrai, Ueno Onshi Park, Anime Tokyo Station, Tokyo Anime Center in DNP Plaza Shibuya, Asakusa Engei Hall, and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. Two points are awarded at a smaller group of locations, including Tamarokuto Science Center, Takaosanguchi Station, Jindai Botanical Gardens, Tama Zoological Park, Irohazaka Sakura Park, and the Edo-Tokyo Open-Air Architectural Museum. Mission rewards can be redeemed at two locations in Tokyo: Anime Tokyo Station in Minami-Ikebukuro and Tokyo Anime Center in DNP Plaza Shibuya. Both redemption counters are open until March 15, with opening hours from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Anime Tokyo Station is located at the Tokyu East 5 building in Minami-Ikebukuro, and is closed on Mondays, or on the following weekday if a public holiday falls on a weekend. Tokyo Anime Center in Shibuya MODI (second floor) is open year-round, although temporary closures may occur.
