The Kanto region has a lot of massive illuminations. But this one, taking place at the Lake Sagami Mori Mori theme park, is the largest of them all. What happens? With six million lights and a giant Christmas tree, it's an understatement to say that this illumination event goes big. This year, there's also a light and music show set to songs by artists like Crystal Kay and Motohiro Hata. The set looks like a music video, with a huge tree, oversized props, and glowing phone boxes. You can also ride the 100-metre Magical Wave slide, pedal through the night sky on the Aozora ("blue sky") Pedal, or glide above the park on the Rainbow Lift. There’s a Tamagotchi-themed zone, a bubble show with glowing soap bubbles, and a bizarrely endearing fire-truck light show where a ladder becomes a 30-metre tree of LEDs. Schedule 2025–26 The event goes from November 15, 2025, to May 10, 2026. Lights turn on from 4 to 9 p.m. (times vary by season) Tickets Admission costs for adults, for children and seniors, and for dogs.
