Every month Nerd Nite gathers three smart speakers and a curious crowd. October’s show poses the questions: What can a colour analysis reveal about North Korea? What do impatient Australians have to do with astrophysics? And is Tokyo a city of invisible poetry? If you can be square and there, you’ll find out the answers (if there are any).
Drinks (both alcoholic and non) and food from Tiny Peace Kitchen will be available so you can eat, drink and learn something new all at the same time. Kids are welcome and curious ones are positively encouraged.
This month’s speakers are:
Jordan A. Y. Smith – Tokyo Poetics: Ads, Mags, Slams, Jams & Ciphers
Don Warren – Fast Radio Bursts
Nadia Boudjella – North Korea in Pantone®: The Color Chart of a Hidden Country
