What to expect

This film screening hosts Life is Climbing, a documentary about blind climber Koichiro “Koba” Kobayashi and his guide Naoya Suzuki. Through the film, you’ll experience the struggles they overcome in their travels.

After the film, guests will have a Q&A meet and greet with Koichiro and Naoya — where they can ask questions about the film and their lives.

Tickets can be purchased in advance from the event website. They’re ¥2,000 for adults, and ¥1,000 for students and disabled guests (with guide).

How to get there

The film screening will take place at Arcadia Ichigaya, a riverside hotel. The quickest way to get there is to take either the Yurakucho or Shinjuku lines to Ichigaya Station. From there, the hotel is a 2-minute walk away.
