Synchronized music, summer night skies, and a glowing 300-meter Niagara finale — Odawara’s riverside fireworks are back.
What happens?
Set along the Sakawa River, this summer fireworks show blends colorful displays with music for a multisensory experience. The 50-minute program culminates in a spectacular 300-meter “Niagara” — a long line of fireworks that rain down in a waterfall of golden sparks.

How to get there
The event venue, Sakawa River Sports Ground in Odawara City, is located a 15-minute walk from Kamonomiya Station.
From Shinjuku Station, hop on the Shōnan–Shinjuku Line until Chigasaki, then change to the Tōkaidō Line and alight at Kamonomiya Station.
Alternatively, you can take the Odakyu Line all the way down to Odawara Station, then take the bus bound for Joto Shako (departs every 30 minutes or so). Get off at Imai Bus Stop and walk 10 minutes.
Either route will take around 2 hours total, but taking the bus will save you around ¥700.
