Join your favorite Sanrio characters this Halloween at this special PUROHALLOWEEN event.
What happens?
This year’s event is held at Sanrio Puroland from September 5 to November 4, with the theme of witches and wizards.
On weekends, holidays, October 31, and the final day (November 4), the Tree of Wisdom Stage will host a brand-new illusion show starring Hello Kitty alongside magician Youri and assistant Sumika.
During weekdays, the same stage transforms into a photo area where you can meet characters like Pompompurin, Wish Me Mel, My Sweet Piano, Hanamaruobake, and more in Halloween outfits. (The lineup is expected to change daily, so check the schedule before visiting.)
Highlights 2025
There’s plenty of events to look forward to:
- Private sessions with characters (¥3,000 per group of up to four, including a sticker set).
- A one-day only show by idol group Super Tokimeki Sendenbu on November 2 with Hello Kitty and Kuromi, limited to fan club members.
- A special collaborative light show with the beloved magical girl anime Ojamajo Doremi.
- Seasonal photo spots around the park.
- A special Halloween-themed food menu featurign 18 new dishes, with each dish based on a character and using seasonal ingredients, such as sweet potatoes.
Tickets 2025
Tickets for Sanrio Puroland vary depending on age and the time you visit.
Day tickets cost anywhere between ¥3,900 to ¥5,900.
Afternoon tickets start from ¥2,500 to ¥3,800.
Spooky Pumpkin 2025
On the night of October 25, Sanrio Puroland will transform into the ultimate party venue with Spooky Pumpkin. There will be artists and DJs performing on different stages.
This year’s event includes performances from such artists as Kroi, OWV, ASP, Dongurizu, Night Tempo, Pasocon Music Club, Pas Tasta, Maika Loubte, and heaps of other big names. DJs Hello Kitty and Kuromi will also make an appearance and perform a set.
You will also be able to meet some of the other characters from 10 p.m. and enjoy some of the attractions, such as the famous Lady Kitty House.
Tickets for Spooky Pumpkin start at ¥11,000. Please note that you have to be over 20 to attend this event.
