Tachikawa’s Showa Kinen Park has all kinds of flowers in bloom throughout spring, though it’s the tulips that tend to get the most attention. It’s a great place to visit if you feel like getting out of the city and stretching your legs, but don’t want to travel too far. For the Nishi-Tachikawa Gate, use Nishi-Tachikawa Station (on the JR Ome Line), which is the closest station.
