The Thai festivals that are so popular in Yoyogi park are now spreading out to other locations. Hikarigaoka park in Nerima ward is an impressively big park with a municipal sports centre, tennis courts, running track, BBQ area and bird sanctuary. Throw some Thai food, drink, music and a flea market into the mix and you have all the ingredients for a fun weekend. It’s just 8 minute’s walk from the station.
