Wander under the boughs of Yoyogi Park while experiencing some of Tokyo’s charm and culture at the Tokyo Night Market. This week-long event has live performances, art exhibitions, and stalls offering local crafts for sale. There’s plenty to do and see for any Tokyoite.
What happens?
While you can visit during the day (on the weekend), the real appeal of Tokyo Night Market shows after sunset. Settle down under stages with live music acts and performances and explore the art galleries set up under the tents. Or, if just watching isn’t for you, join the open mic performances and see how you compare to some of Tokyo’s best musical talent.
Don’t leave empty-handed, either. The Tokyo Night Market will have plenty of stalls selling everything from food to furnishings.
