Tokyo Tower is hard to miss — an iconic sight on the city’s skyline. To celebrate the festive season, it will sparkle with illuminations throughout winter at the Tokyo Tower Orange Illuminations.
What to expect
Centered around the plaza, the Tokyo Tower Orange Illuminations will light up every day until Christmas. Over 42,000 lights will cast a warming orange glow and surround a 10-meter miniature of the tower.
You’ll also be engulfed by fir trees, gazebos, and windmills for a taste of the European winter. Also, check out the Christmas Market. And for more cheer, every 15 minutes from 4:30 p.m. you’ll be serenaded by a sound and light show with wistful piano music.
