Step-by-step guidance in English is given and all materials and tools are provided.

What is kimekomi temari?

Kimekomi temari is a traditional Japanese craft where fabric is carefully inlaid into carved grooves on a spherical base to create intricate, bright patterns. Originally developed in the Edo period, these decorative balls symbolize good fortune and are often given as gifts or as home decorations.

Entry and tickets

The workshop costs ¥2,000 and is to be paid for on the day by cash or via PayPay. This includes all materials as well as drinks. No need to pre-register — just turn up.
