This event has changed somewhat over the years and is now a seasonal fireworks festival that takes place from summer into winter.
What happens?
A fireworks display that lasts for around 5 minutes will set off from Yamashita Pier, Osanbashi Pier or/and Shinko Pier, depending on the date. A great viewing spot is Yamashita Park.
Schedule 2025
Most of the fireworks will be set off at 8 p.m. except for the New Year’s Eve fireworks which will go off at midnight.
- December 24, 2024, at Osanbashi Pier
- New Year’s Eve/Day (January 1) at Osanbashi Pier and Shinko Pier at midnight
- January 18 at Yamashita Pier
- January 25 at Osanbashi Pier
- February 1 at Yamashita Pier
- February 8 at Yamashita Pier
- February 22 at Shinko Pier
- March 1 at Osanbashi Pier
- March 29 at Shinko Pier
