Wakasu

Wakasu is a relatively new, sparsely populated island of reclaimed land in Tokyo Bay.

Unlike most of Tokyo, it features lots of wide open space—and a busy freeway flyover.

Much of the island is given over to Wakasu Kaihin Park, which features a popular camping ground. The area below Tokyo Gate Bridge, adjacent to the camping ground, is popular for fishing.

Access to the area is via bus from Shin-Kiba Station.
