Asakusa Hare Terrace

On the rooftop of Ekimise Department Store (also part of Matsuya Asakusa), you’ll find Asakusa Hare Terrace. This gives a pleasant view of Tokyo Sky Tree, the Sumida River, and the Golden Poo.

There are chairs and places to relax, as well as elevated platforms to get a better view of the skyline. They often hold events and activities here.

This rooftop also becomes a beer garden (called Eki Beer) in the summer months.
