Located right next to Ochanomizu Station, Holy Resurrection Cathedral is a cathedral of the Orthodox Church of Japan which was constructed in 1891.
The cathedral is known as Nikolai-do, named after the founder of the Orthodox Church in Japan—Saint Nicholas of Japan.

The cathedral was severely damanged in the 1923 Great Kanto Earthquake but was restored and repaired by 1929.
