Designed by renowned and influential American architect Frank Lloyd Wright in 1921 as a school building for Jiyugakuen, the building has been designated as an Important Cultural Property. It’s also one of the last Frank Lloyd Wright buildings remaining in Japan.

Myonichikan is open to the public and is often used as a wedding venue or for other events. The interior of the building is open to the public from 10am to 4pm except on Mondays when it is closed.
