Onjuku Beach is widely considered to be one of the best surfing beaches on the Chiba coast.
From Onjuku Station, the beach can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes.
Throughout the village and on the small road running directly behind the beach, there are surf shops selling equipment and offering lessons.
