Located midway between Eifukucho Station, Meidaimae Station, and Shimo-takaido Station, Suginami Green Cycle is a facility for recycling/selling used bicycles which is managed by Suginami Ward.

Sales are held on two or three successive days each month with the exact days announced on the official website.

To avoid overcrowding, the number of people who may attend the sales on the first day is determined by lottery. To get into the lottery, you need to send a postcard in this format before the closing date indicated on the website. If you just turn up on the first day, you won’t be allowed to enter. There are no restrictions on entry for the second day, but you can bet all the best bikes will have been snapped up.
