Mejiro Tanakaya is quite possibly the best liquor shop in Tokyo.
It’s not the biggest or the cheapest, but it’s packed with absolute gems—craft beer, wines, and whiskies you won’t find anywhere else.
While the prices are high, Tanakaya isn’t price gouging. Most of the brands are just super rare and hard to get in Japan, so the prices are justified.
