Yatsuyama Bridge is a fairly unremarkable road bridge over the many Japan Rail lines that disect this part of Shinagawa, although it does afford a nice view of the neighboring Bridge which carries Keikyu Line trains.
The bridge’s real claim to fame is the number of times it has been destroyed (fictionally) by a rampaging Godzilla just after it has emerged from nearby Tokyo Bay.
You can get to Yatsuyama Bridge by exiting from the Takanawa Exit of Shinagawa Station and walking south along Daiichikeihin Avenue. The Bridge is also very close to the start of a relatively intact portion of the Old Tokaido Route.
