Chiikawa and friends have opened up a new, limited-time ramen shop in Tokyo after closing down their Shibuya branch.
Located in Ikebukuro, you can taste tonkotsu, pork-based, ramen while being surrounded by the whole gang. When you dine alone, you can also be accompanied by your favorite character in 2D. (Just don’t take them home.)
Do not let these cuties fool you, the ramen portions are quite huge. If you want to get exclusive merch, it’s best you go quickly as they may sell out.
How much?
You’re paying extra for the novelty, so it’s not the cheapest ramen. Currently, a large ramen costs ¥1,980, a small ramen costs ¥1,760, and a mini-ramen costs ¥1,540.
Reservations
Reservations aren’t required for entry after 2 p.m., but if you want to go for lunch, it is best to reserve a space here. Note that you will still have to wait to get in.
How to get there
The restaurant is inside Ikebukuro Parco on the eighth floor.
